Baptist chapel

Updated: Jul 5, 2019

Following receipt of planning and listed building approval for the conversion and alterations of a redundant Baptist chapel on the side of a Cotswold valley, this exciting project has gone out to tender with construction due to start in late spring 2015.

The Grade II Listed building, built in the mid-19th century, also comprises an attached Sunday School and a vestry. The challenging conversion works within the constraints of the existing openings and circulation to create a unique set of internal spaces. The steeply sloping site to the rear provides the perfect environment for espaliered planting across the terrace walls with stunning views across the rolling countryside.
