New Arts and Crafts Country House on the edge of a historic farmstead.
The high quality building, with carefully considered detailing, forms part of a broader site masterplan that reorders the farmstead into a series of defined gardens and yards, revealing and repurposing historic agricultural buildings.
The context driven design responds to the local vernacular and material palette of soft red brick, hand-made clay roof tiles, and cut stone detailing.
Distinctive turned brick chimneys, oak-framed screens, and swept rooflines give the property its presence and sense of grandeur.
