Celebrated coaching inn with a rich architectural history and character. The hotel, Grade II*, consists of a series of interlinked buildings, some of which date back to the 14th century. It has been associated with a number of historical events.
Following change in ownership, the hotel underwent extensive refurbishment and renovation in 2017. The role of Tyack Architects was as project architectural consultants advising on the alteration to the listed buildings, sensitive historical detailing, construction and overall architectural input in close liaison with the Interior Designers and other members of the design team.
