A new 6-bed house built on the site of a tennis court in Blockley.

 

Our clients wanted to combine traditional Cotswold materials and features with an aluminium glazing system.  The result is a crisply detailed finish that maintains a traditional appearance from the road, but allows a heavily glazed rear elevation to maximise the excellent views out over the sloping rear garden down to Blockley Brook.

 

The combination of modern and traditional styles continues internally with a light, open-plan kitchen/breakfast/family space contrasting successfully with more traditional reception rooms.
