Tyack Architects Staff Photo 2023
Established in 1974, Tyack Architects
is a close-knit architectural practice in the
Cotswolds, caring for its work family as much as
it cares for each client and each project.

We pride ourselves on the level of love and attention we give to every project.

We are proud of our legacy of beautifully crafted buildings and landscapes,
enhancing the experience of those in and around them.

Demonstrated in the number of return clients and awards we receive.

Working in small Director-led teams, our staff offer a diverse range of skills and
knowledge, to provide a tailored response to suit each individual brief within
a lively and nurturing working environment.

There is no standard way of delivering a building project. We work closely with
clients as each commission progresses, providing them with
guidance and recommendations at important decision points to find the best solutions.

In 2022 the majority shareholding of Tyack Architects Limited transferred to an Employee Owned Trust. This means that the practice’s employees are now the majority owners of the company, and are represented on the Trust’s board by elected Employees, alongside the founding director and an independent director and chair of the board.

Becoming employee-owned reflects the practice’s reputation for nurturing young talent, providing a family-style studio environment within which a generation of architects have been able to grow and flourish - many of whom now form the management team of the practice and have been integral to its continued growth.  Senior staff, including Edward Tyack, remain at the core of the practice, with decades of experience and knowledge.
